There is once, I remember, that Mr. A just got out of the jail and trying to get famous by challenging some minister on the national television on the topic of oil price. Mr. Deputy Prime Minister do not allow it by giving the reason that other government worker work very hard everyday but did not have the chance to be on tv. What does this mean? Can you see the big picture? I never know that the goal of a government worker is to get on tv. That is the new thing I learned that day.
Let’s take a closer look at the oppositions. How often do they get on tv? Even though they did, it must be some meetings, discussions or an important event. To be honest, I don’t really know what they are doing but I am pretty clear that these guys are doing a better job than the other. At least they do not get on tv by setting up their own press conference (which force reporters to come), launching people’s product, sign up dealing documents, etc. Isn’t the government supposed to benefit the people? Why the people are became poor but they get new bungalow once they won an election or have wife number 4 once they have a higher post in their party? While, at the same time, the people became poorer as the petro price never came down. Speaking about petro price is something that makes my blood boil. Yesterday, the price for crude oil in US is USD90 a barrel, which mean it is USD 0.90 a gallon. How much is it in Malaysia? 1 gallon is approximately 3.79 liters. So, it is RM3.42 for 1 gallon of petro or RM1.10 per litre. How much is the government selling us? RM2.70! And do not forget that Malaysia is a country that produces crude oil. While the price of crude oil drops to USD 90 a barrel, the government is busy sending their people to Taiwan and China for holiday. Then back in the country the leaders are laughing that nothing happens on 16 of September and having fun shifting role. Clearly this is the celebrity government who only shows their “heroic” face on tv while sucking the people’s blood. Is this the government you want?Where you understand life-changing meaning through other people's experience.
