Love Between Religions

Jane falls in love with Jake who believes in different religion. Both religions are well known religions which have millions of followers around the world.

Jane believes that her religion has a very well believe system that can nurture both self and brings the world to peace.

Jake has an opinion that his god can only bless families which each member believe the same god. This tradition has been practiced for thousands of years and it is very true so far.

Yet both of them did not choose the religion themselves. They are born in the family with different religion.

Both of them, after years of trying, separated. Yet, they still missed each other, still talk to each other through phone every night, but don’t have solution. What do you think their future will be? They will end their life unable to live with their only love.

To be true, both of them are only one of the many true-love couples in the world in thousands of years since religion is invented.

Pathetic, isn’t it?

Let’s not think which religions are truer. Do you think this is what god wanted?

Isn’t god want all human to be happy?

If god only blesses those that believe in him, isn’t that brings him down to human level, which we call selfish?

Isn’t god will love everyone, and wish every single person he creates happy, whether he/she believes in him or not?

If Jake and Jane cannot love each other and be happy, how can they fulfill god’s wish, which is to live happy.

Did god wish them to be separated, because both of them believe in him, only in different way?

Maybe (just maybe) Jake and Jane case is a way god want his creations to solve this believe system problem, which had failed even though after thousands of years.

I think people need to look at what their God means to them. In my religion I believe in some things and not others. I know my God is an all loving God and will guide me through any situation. I usually don't talk to others about their religion I think because it is such a personal thing. What do you think?

Yes, me too.
But in some occasions, it is different.
Like the above, two strong believers will have to sacrifies their happiness for their believes, which is supposed to bring them happiness.
