You look at the finger or the moon?

When a person point to the moon, you are suppose to look at the moon, not the finger pointing it. Everyone knows the meaning behind this situation. But how many actually doing it?

Everyone seems to have a meaning in life, either they want to be rich, happy, have fun, achieve something etc. They actually work hard for it. Is it the right way to do it? You tell me. I think it is like looking at the finger. Like you know the moon is there but you still believe that to see the moon you must see the finger first. Maybe you will think that the finger will guide you to see the moon. It is still a guide, isn't it?

We never know what will happen in the future, we are making a big bet that it will happen or we work hard for nothing. All we have and left are now. Those really successful investors around the world have proven this theory by buying investments that earn the moment they buy it. That is how they get so rich, just by making sure they earn at that moment. So, why don't we grab the moment and do whatever we think we should?

The Map to God

A long long time ago, when the demons, satans and humans are staying on the same ground, the satans and demons found a map that shows where the god is. While in fear that all the humans will no longer listen to them, the satans and demons decided to hide the map. They search many places for many years realizing that the humans are actually smarter than they thought that they will find the map no matter where they hide it.

Just when they are about to give up, one of the satans gave a suggestion that they should do a research on the humans. So, They decided to test on the humans. Two demons turned themselves into a leprocy mother and daughter.

Both of them went to knock on a rich man house and ask for help. That rich man felt very sorry and give them a lot of money but asks them to leave. Then they went to knock on a poor peasant house. The peasant, too, felt very sorry but asks them to leave because he himself needed help. Finally they saw a person distributing food to hundreds of leprocy patients. So, they walked near and ask for help. That person told them he is very sorry for their misfortune, too, and asks them to line up impatiently. The mother and daughter told that man they don't need food. All they need is love. That man then told them he do not know what to give them.

After these few test, the demon and satan went back happily. They told the others that the humans will search every corner of the world for their benefits but their heart. Thus there is where they hide the map, in the human heart.

孩子、树

不知道你有没有听过这样的一个故事：

有一个小孩很喜欢到一棵苹果树下玩。每当没有人陪他玩时，他一定会到那棵树下玩，好像那棵树会跟他玩似的。可是那个小孩越长大就越少到那棵苹果树去玩。当那个小孩长大成人时，更是没有到那棵苹果树去了。有一天，那小孩沮丧的去找那棵苹果树。苹果树见了小孩高兴地说：“你有来陪我玩啊？我们好久没有一起玩了。”那小孩说：“我长大了，不玩小孩子游戏了。”那树见他不高兴便问：“你不高兴吗？说来听听。说不定我帮得上忙。”那小孩说：“我要做生意，可是却找不到投资。”树回答说：“我什么都没有，只是树上长满了苹果。不然你就把苹果采去卖了钱拿去投资吧。”那小孩听了很高兴得采了苹果。小孩离开之前口口声声地向那棵树道谢。那棵树说：“不必道谢，有空来陪我玩就可以了。”那小孩拿着苹果走了。他生意做起来后就没有回来了。过了很久，那小孩又垂头丧气的回来。那树见了他很高兴，但见他心里不乐，便问他发生什么事？那小孩说：“我的孩子要上大学了，近来生意又不怎么好，真不知怎么办好。”那棵树听了便说：“我身上什么也没有，只有几枝树干。你就看了树干去卖了钱，供孩子上大学吧。”那小孩听了高兴地把树干砍了下来，口口声声说不知该怎样报答他。苹果树说：“我什么都不要，你的空来玩就可以了。”那小孩走了过后就没有再回来了。过了很久，那小孩老了，他又回到那棵苹果树那里。只见以前强壮高大的苹果树只剩下干了的树根。那小孩看了不禁感愧疚流下泪来，对那棵苹果树说：“我回来了。我可以帮你什么？”那苹果树奄奄一息地说：“我什么都不要。只要你陪我说说话就可以了。”

故事里的苹果树像不像我们的父母？华人有一句话“万善孝先行”。父母是我们生命中第一个对我们付出而不求回报的人。一个人如果不孝顺父母，多好人不都是假仁假义吗？我有一个朋友对我说过他有一位义姐姐，给他父母带大的，长大了之后就很少回家，只有几次回来借钱说要去搞生意。忽然有一次不知什么缘故回来，对家人说行善做义工，要家人捐钱。可是没人理她，她又一去不回来了。如果有一天你也遇到这样的人向你要钱行善，你会给吗？

Life is a Holiday Trip

My grandma always tell me that life is like a holiday trip, we only come here for a few years to look around and have fun and then we are done. So, sit back and have fun.
