Self, Feelings and Emotions

Have you ever wonder how many self inside you? You probably think I am mad asking this question. I found this answer after finding where is my heart actually locate. Yes, heart. Not that heart in my chest but that heart that stores all my feeling.

1. First and foremost, our body, which allowed us to be seen like a human in the world. This self is lead by our physical pumping heart. This is our basic self, our being.

2. You probably realize we remember things. But you do not realize that it is independent. You can’t just remember something or forget something. You have to convince someone inside you to store it or keep it deep inside. That is our second self at work.

3. Do you realize that whatever decision we want to make, there will be an argument in our head. Some people call them little voices or whisper. Two of them always disagree and debate based on information from our 2nd self.

4. Whatever the argument going on inside, both self won’t come out with a solution. They need another self to solve it, to make a decision. This is our fifth self. The real you working.

5. Everyone imagine things. In fact, whatever we do, we have to be clear in our mind what we are doing before we really do it. This including our self. We imagine our ideal self before we show to others. The ideal self is the sixth self.

6. The last self is the one people have in mind. In other words, impression. You might try very hard to project your ideal self to the world. But that impression of you in each and everyone’s mind will not be the one you have in mind. They might be close. But it is just not the same.

This is my answer. There are 7 of every person.

Where do we store our feelings? We did not store them. We only store the experience in our memory (2nd self above). It is our debaters (3rd and 4th self) that create the emotion after their debate. This is the reason why our emotions or feelings are different when we have the same experience. When the debaters have the same debate, we have the same feelings; when the facts in the debates are different, we have new feelings.
